Personal de Higiene Urbana de la Secretaría de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable de la Municipalidad de Ushuaia, con la colaboración de la Subsecretaría de Servicios Públicos, llevó adelante el retiro de chatarra y vehículos abandonados en la vía pública.
Desde el Municipio, y en cumplimiento con la normativa vigente, se había notificado con antelación a los propietarios sobre la acción que se iba a realizar.
Los vehículos fueron trasladados al depósito municipal de chatarra, para su posterior compactación.
Desde el área de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable destacaron que en los últimos 45 días fueron retirados 50 vehículos abandonados en distintos sectores de la ciudad, contribuyendo a la eliminación de focos de contaminación.
